Talking about her character, Komal, she said that she plays the sister of Saboor Aly’s character. In terms of personality, she described her as “calm, polite and understanding”. Adding that she takes care of her family’s needs and feelings.
The actress said: “I had rejected 15-16 scripts before signing ‘Nehar’ because I was getting similar roles after working in ‘Jalan’. In fact, even in this drama, I am playing a shade of my character from ‘Jalan’.
I only agreed to this script because it talks about how women are suppressed after marriage. They don’t stand up for their rights, as well as their struggle after moving to their in-laws’ home.”
