Elon Musk sold all of his mansions to live in a tiny $50k prefab house
World’s second richest man, CEO of Tesla Motors, and SpaceX ‘Elon Musk’ sold all of his mansions and property and reportedly is now living in a Boxable Casita prefab tiny house which costs a measly $50,000. The house is only 375 square feet and lies in Starbase, Texas, where Musk and his team are working on Starships.
According to the sources, in the previous year May ‘Elon Musk’ disclosed his plans to sell his belongings and homes. And in the next few days o, two of his California properties were available for sale. Following the latest report on his IRS data and claimed tax evasion, these attempts are now being seen in a new light. Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has fulfilled his pledge to throw out his luxury real estate and currently lives in a $50,000 rented prefab home.
Recently, in a reply to a question from a Twitter follower Musk declared that he now only owns one house, which is in the San Francisco Bay Area of California and rented away for events and activities.

The most intriguing thing is that he says that he rents the main residence of his own company.
As per a recent report, there are a few of America’s richest people, including Musk, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, and Berkshire Hathaway President Warren Buffett, have been paying very little or no income tax in comparison to their wealth. Musk himself entirely evaded federal income tax in 2018.
Following the disclosures, Musk tweeted that he would continue to pay income tax in California proportionately to his time there, which “is and will be significant”.
