Free Online IT Courses Training To Be Imparted One Million Youth
On Wednesday, Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi stated that one million youth would receive free online IT (Information Technology) courses and training for starting their own businesses. As the chief guest, the CM attended the signing of the MoU. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by PITB Chairman Syed Bilal Haider and Mr. Tan Ting Jin, Chief Executive Officer of re skills Malaysian Company. Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has reaffirmed his commitment to providing one million youth in the province with free online IT training in order to guarantee their economic empowerment. In Lahore on Wednesday, the Punjab Information Technology Board and the Malaysian company Reskills signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU).
The Chief Minister
The Chief Minister occasionally mentioned that the Malaysian company would also give the Punjab government a technical grant of twelve million dollars to train young people between the ages of 16 and 30.
He emphasized the program’s features, stating that youth will be able to earn a living online after receiving training and that this online training will save more than three billion rupees. Online training, according to the chief minister, would lead to hundreds of thousands of self-employment opportunities. Youths between the ages of 16 and 30 will receive free online training.
In order to provide youth with free training, the Malaysian company will provide the Punjab government with a $12 million technical grant for free subscriptions. The cost of training will be reduced by at least Rs. 3 billion. The CM stated that the Re-Skills Malaysian company would collaborate to provide youth with online self-employment training facilities. For up to a year, the youngsters will have free access to premium learning accounts.
He emphasized that taking online professional courses could help young people make more money. Through the platform, youth with smartphones can easily receive training. For this purpose, the chief minister stated that the government would provide all facilities to local and international technology companies.
Dr. Arslan Khalid
Dr. Arslan Khalid, the CM’s Special Assistant on IT, stated that the Punjab government would launch the Digital Skills-2 program, which would provide university students with advanced technology training. Syed Bilal Haider, chairman of the PITB, stated that Pakistan ranked fourth on an international scale for freelancing.
He informed the youth that special promo codes would be issued by PITB, which they could use on this website or mobile app to activate their learning accounts for a year. It is pertinent to note that the Re-Skills Malaysian Company offers training services in over 70 nations. Professional training platform Re-Skills Malaysian Company provides a variety of online courses on its platform.
In the meantime, on Wednesday, Chief Minister of Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi pressed a button to begin the construction of the 256-bed new emergency and trauma center at Jinnah Hospital. A presentation on the Rs.8.65 billion projects was given by Provincial Specialized Healthcare Minister Dr. Yasmin Rashid and Secretary Ahmad Javed Qazi.
24 beds will be allocated for cardiac emergencies and 48 for surgical and allied emergencies, in addition to those for accidents and other types of emergencies. The trauma center and a new emergency are needed to handle the rush of patients, and the new emergency will also have diagnostic services like a cath lab, pathology, radiology, and pharmacy.

The CM stated and mentioned that a lift, ramp, wheelchair, stretcher, and other amenities were being provided for the convenience of patients and caregivers. He added that the project for the seven-story emergency block and trauma center would be completed within the allotted time, and he appreciated that Dr. Yasmin Rashid and her team were working until the wee hours of the morning to provide patients with high-quality healthcare facilities.

In the meantime, Chief Minister of Punjab Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has conveyed his deepest condolences to the deceased veteran actor and comedian Majid Jahangir’s family.
The CM stated that fans still remember Majid Jahangir’s popular television drama “Fifty Fifty.” He added that the history of comedy cannot be complete without Majid Jahangir because of his distinctive acting in “Fifty Fifty.”
