A chart-topping DJ named David Guetta claims to have just created a rap song using two artificial intelligence websites. Imagine listening to a song and being told that the lyrics and music were written by an AI tool instead of a human. Doesn’t it sound weird? This is the future of music, according to chart-topping DJ David Guetta.
Guetta says he recently created a rap song in the US style using just two AI websites, but he says the track won’t be sold.
However, the song was performed live, and Guetta introduced it by saying, “Let me introduce you to Emin-AI-em,” cleverly referring to the use of AI in the creation of the rap song.
Surprisingly, the song was similar to the music and delivery of Eminem, one of the most well-known hip-hop rappers in the United States and elsewhere.
Since “every new music style comes from a new technology,” Guetta asserts, he believes that the AI-based music production trend will advance significantly.
AI is undoubtedly where music’s future lies. 100% sure. There is no question. But as a tool,” the DJ stated in a subsequent BBC interview.
Guetta went on to talk about how AI will make music better in the interview.
Without the electric guitar, rock ‘n’ roll probably wouldn’t exist. Without the Roland TR-909 drum machine and the Roland TB-303, acid house would not exist. Guetta stated, “I think AI might define new musical styles.” Without the sampler, hip-hop would not exist. He added, “I think that every new style of music comes from a new technology.”
