The presidential heat is still picking up threads, with thousands of votes being calculated in critical states to decide the outcomes in the coming days. However, Trump doesn’t seem to cool his heels, and falsely claimed victory over Democratic rival Joe Biden on Wednesday, denouncing a major fraud on American citizens.
Shortly after Biden’s statement with regards to winning the White House race once the votes are estimated, Trump appeared at the White House and prematurely declared victory. He quoted, “We were getting ready to win this election. Frankly, we did win this election.”
He stated that the law should be utilized in a specific manner and threatened to go to the Supreme Court without specifying the claim.
Trump also took to Twitter and tweeted,
Opinion polls have shown tighter contests in battleground states despite giving Biden a stronghold nationwide since the votes didn’t seem to produce overwhelming results against Trump the way Democrats wished for. According to the popular vote nationwide, Biden was routed Trump with a conspicuous gap. He expressed optimism and shared that he is content with his position.
Trump, on the other hand shows incredulity over the mail-in votes and considers them fraudulent without providing relevant evidence although, election experts have debunked this claim as the mail in ballots have been prevalent feature of American election system.
Democrat Joe Biden is moving closer to victory as election officials tallied votes in a handful of states that will determine the outcome of the 46th Presidential race.
